Terms of service
Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026
About these terms
These terms cover our website and our Front Desk service. “Noodle AI”, “we” and “us” mean Noodle AI, a business in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. “You” means a visitor to our website or a business that signs up for our services. By using our website, or by signing up, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.
Our website
You may use our website and try our demos for lawful purposes. Please don’t misuse them: no attacking or overloading our systems, no automated or excessive use, and nothing illegal or abusive. Our demos use an automated assistant and may be limited or switched off at any time.
The service
Front Desk is an AI receptionist. Depending on the plan, it answers a business’s calls, texts and website chat, collects details from customers, sends the business’s booking link, follows up, and alerts the business when a person is needed. We set it up with you, keep it running, and send you reports. We may improve or change the service over time.
AI has limits
Front Desk uses artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes, mishear a call or misunderstand a message. It is not a substitute for a person, and you stay responsible for your business, your customers and your decisions. It does not book appointments into a calendar unless we say so in writing, and it is not an emergency service: don’t rely on it for emergencies, and make sure your customers know how to reach emergency help.
Plans, fees and billing
Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes, and are shown on our website when you sign up. Plans are billed monthly in advance, with a one-time setup fee unless we agree otherwise in writing. Voice minutes beyond those included in your plan are billed at the rate shown on our website. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, and the change takes effect at your next billing period. If a payment fails, we may suspend the service until it’s paid.
Cancelling and refunds
Plans are month-to-month. You can cancel any time by emailing hello@noodleai.ca, and the service ends at the end of the period you’ve paid for. If Front Desk isn’t bringing your business leads within your first 30 days, tell us and we’ll refund your first month’s fee. Setup fees are not refundable once setup work has been done, except where the law requires it.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information about your business, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to how you use the service, including laws about recording or transcribing calls, telling callers they are speaking with an automated assistant, and sending texts and emails (for example, Canada’s anti-spam law, CASL). You are responsible for having any consent you need from your customers. Front Desk honours STOP requests, and you must not use the service to send unwanted or misleading messages, or for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your customers’ information and your business information remain yours. We use them only to provide the service to you, to bill for it, to keep it secure, and as the law requires. We store records in Canada, and some processing by our service providers happens outside Canada, including in the United States, as described in our privacy policy. We don’t sell your data. We protect it with reasonable security measures, but no system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if we learn of a breach affecting your data. On request we will give you a copy of your data or delete it. We keep personal information no longer than 12 months after you stop using the service, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Availability
We work to keep Front Desk running day and night, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Our service depends on phone, messaging, email and AI providers outside our control, and may be interrupted by their outages, by maintenance, or by events beyond our reasonable control. Please keep your own ways of reaching your customers.
Suspending or ending the service
We may suspend or end your service if you break these terms, don’t pay, or use the service in a way that harms others or puts our systems at risk. We’ll give you notice where we reasonably can. When the service ends, your access ends and we handle your data as described above.
Our property
We own the Front Desk software, the website and our other materials. We give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during your plan, only for your business. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service.
No guarantees, and limits on what we owe
The service and our website are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise any particular result, such as a number of leads or sales, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
If someone makes a claim
You agree to cover reasonable costs and losses we suffer from a claim by a third party that arises from your breaking these terms or the law, or from the content or instructions you give us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. For paying customers, we’ll also tell you by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.
